It’s hard to believe it’s been six months since RESPA News has had the pleasure of seeing many of you out at industry conferences. I’m excited for conference season to kick off in late March with RESPRO26 in New Orleans. We will be there to learn new perspectives on RESPA enforcement trends, how to provide the best customer service and how the latest technology can help real estate and mortgage professionals.
RESPRO26 is the perfect time to gain perspective of what the future holds with a new Consumer Financial Protection Bureau director. In addition, legal experts Brian Levy, of counsel at Katten & Temple, and Francis “Trip” Riley, partner at Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr, will provide updates on several pending cases that are challenging the bureau’s constitutionality. Another session that is sure to get people talking is a lookback on TRID 2.0 with Richard Horn, Garris Horn PLLC founding attorney, and Rich Andreano, partner at Ballard Spahr, LLP.
Hopefully in between sessions, I will get some opportunity to sample The Big Easy’s revered music, cuisine and culture, so laissez les bon temps rouler!
