National Settlement Services and Compliance Summit
Every industry has one major event to pull it all together.
For the title and settlement services industry, this is it.
The National Settlement Services and Compliance Summit in Cleveland, Ohio, has become the premier annual destination for title and settlement services leaders and top real estate professionals to come together for unmatched networking and learning. The 2011 Summit will be held in downtown Cleveland's Key Center on June 7-8.
Expert speakers and noted industry veterans take the stage for two days of educational presentations, panel discussions and breakout sessions. Attendees return year after year to learn and discuss the most important issues impacting their businesses. They walk away with CE/CLE credits, new business partnerships, innovative approaches to business, and the insight to remain compliant.
The National Settlement Services and Compliance Summit's two-day agenda is comprised of concurrently running business and compliance tracks:
The Business Track
The Summit's business track sheds light on successful title business models, innovative methodologies and critical market developments. Join us to hear the most successful mortgage, real estate and settlement services leaders discuss ways to improve daily operations, boost sales and marketing, introduce new product offerings and business directions and more.
The Compliance Track
Addressing the sea of legislative and regulatory change, the compliance track focuses squarely on changes at the federal and state levels, as well as challenges in the courts. Noted speakers will address RESPA, the Dodd-Frank Act and the implementation of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, changes to the Truth in Lending Act that could impact the closing table, new appraisal standards, the latest case law and enforcement.
The Summit also features our industry's most extensive face-to-face networking opportunities and most highly-anticipated event – the Opening Night Reception. This year's event will feature casino-style table games, great prizes and award-winning cuisine and cocktails at downtown Cleveland's Morton's: The Steakhouse.
