Eric Schwartz, MAI, SRA
Schwartz holds the MAI and SRA designations awarded by the Appraisal Institute and he serves the Appraisal Institute as chair of the Strategic Planning Committee. George Holler
Attorney George Holler is managing partner at the Holler Law Firm, LLC. He founded the firm after managing a successful title agency, Superior Closing Services, LLC. At Superior he increased revenue from $500,000.00 to $5,000,000.00 in just over four years and supervised the company’s expansion from Connecticut into 17 other states. In his current position Attorney Holler provides services to many of the country’s largest title agencies for their Connecticut transactions. Outside the office, George is father to three young boys, and he is active in his community serving on the Execute Board of Milford National Little League.
Jeff Schurman
Jeff Schurman is the executive director of TAVMA, the trade association of the real estate settlement services industry. In this role, he is responsible for member services, fund raising, membership development, and administration. Jeff is also an independent consultant at Schurman Research Company, LLC, a vendor management and leadership advisory service.
Loretta Salzano
Loretta Salzano is one of the firm's founding partners and manages Franzén and Salzano’s state and federal compliance practice. Loretta advises mortgage lenders, brokers, banks and other financial institutions regarding licensure, fees, disclosures, reporting, advertising, marketing, fair lending and other matters related to their products and services; and she assists clients in responding to regulatory examinations and actions. Loretta also drafts and negotiates contracts on behalf of financial institutions, including, but not limited to loan purchase and sale agreements, warehouse line agreements and servicing agreements. Loretta spends a great deal of her time advising mortgage lenders, brokers and other settlement service providers on how to increase their business while remaining within the confines of the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act and other state and federal laws.
Julie Joseforsky
Julie Joseforsky is a Senior vice president and the Director of Consumer Lending for M&I Bank. Prior to joining M&I Bank, she was the CEO, Senior vice president of the Consumer Bank Lending division for IndyMac Bank and prior to that she held the position of President of Key Bank Mortgage, overseeing the vendor management and indirect home equity divisions. She has also held director roles in Compliance and Direct Lending at HSBC and director roles in Mortgage and Home Equity Lending and Marketing at JP Morgan Chase.
Mary O'Donnell
Mary O’Donnell is President and CEO of Westcor Land Title Insurance Company, a California domiciled underwriter currently licensed in 19 states. Westcor is an agent-based independent underwriter committed to aggressive expansion through relationships with independent entrepreneurial agents. Westcor currently maintains regional offices in Nevada, Arizona, California and Florida. Mary is admitted to practice law in the States of New York and Florida. She is one of the authors of the Florida Land Title "Title Insurance Handbook". Mary is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, and the Florida Bar Association.
Edward Krug
Edward J. Krug has been a practicing attorney for the past 37 years and is currently in private practice specializing in small balance commercial lending and closings. A graduate of Duquesne University in Pittsburgh in 1968 and its Law School in 1972, he commenced his law practice as an associate counsel with Alter Wright & Barron prior to establishing his own firm in 1975. His practice has consistently focused on real estate, lending and title insurance. In 1997, Ed joined Stewart Title Guaranty Company as Western PA Manager and Counsel and in 1999 was appointed vice president for the company’s multi-state division. In 2001, he was hired as president and general counsel of Service Link LP, a Pittsburgh-based vendor management company specializing in title and settlement of residential transactions on a multi-state level. In 2005, he returned to private practice specializing in small balance commercial lending and closings. He has been a licensed title insurance agent in Pennsylvania since 1977 and has been licensed as a title agent in 21 additional states. He has served as a counsel, director and past and current president of The Title Appraisal Vendor Management Association (TAVMA). He has also served on the board of directors of the Real Estate Service Providers Organization (RESPRO).
Todd Hougaard
Todd Hougaard is executive vice president for GreenFolders Inc. and directs their marketing, sales, and business development efforts. A proven mortgage industry technology veteran and a pioneer of electronic mortgage transactions, Todd founded the company Ingeo which was the first to record a 100 percent paperless real-estate transaction using digital signatures, digital notarization, and XML “SMART” documents. His pioneering work in electronic recording led to the XHTML electronic document format being adopted as a standard by Fannie Mae and subsequently the Mortgage Bankers Association Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization (MISMO) for XML SMART documents. Todd has consulted and advised forward thinking state and county governments nationwide on eSignatures, eNotarization, and electronic records including Arizona, California, Florida, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington and others. He has founded four companies, is a relentless innovator and is a U.S. Patent holder. He continues to develop new and innovative technologies and products for title agents, county governments (including recorder’s offices), mortgage servicers, and mortgage bankers. Todd completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Geography and post-graduate work in Watershed Science at Utah State University.
Vicki Bott joined the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development September 30 as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Single Family Housing Programs. In that capacity, she is responsible for the direction and management of all Single Family FHA mortgage insurance programs, including product management and development, the management, and disposition of single family properties acquired by foreclosure or default, and the approval and monitoring of FHA-approved lenders. A graduate of Arizona State University, Vicki is married to Frank Bott and has three children.
Michael Flynn is the General Counsel – Mortgage Banking for PNC Financial Services Group. He most recently served until January 2009 as the Acting General Counsel of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development. In that position, he supervised approximately 370 attorneys and 320 staff in all areas of HUD program responsibility. At the same time, Michael also served as counselor to the board of directors of the new HOPE for Homeowners $300 billion FHA refinance program for troubled homeowners. From February 2007 until November 2008, he served as HUD’s General Deputy General Counsel. From 2001 to 2007, Michael was senior vice president and senior counsel at World Savings Bank in Oakland, Calif. Prior to that he was vice president and general litigation counsel for Chicago Title Insurance Co. in Chicago. Michael received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University, where he was a Metz Scholar, and his law degree from Duke University School of Law, where he was a Reynolds Scholar.
Penny Reed is Vice President Settlement Services at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. A 26-year veteran of the mortgage industry, Reed has been with Wells Fargo for 20 years in various positions including underwriting, credit risk management, capital markets and agency relations.
Rich Griffin
Rich Griffin is the owner of Sonoran Title Services, Inc. Sonoran Title is a full service title and escrow company that services the States of; Arizona, Colorado, and Florida. He is a 20-year veteran of the real estate industry. Prior to his work in the title industry, he was a vice president and divisional manager for a Fortune 50 Bank. Rich is a graduate of Western Illinois University and holds an MBA from Arizona State University. He is very involved in the real estate community sitting on several committees and boards in both Arizona and Florida. He is a frequent panelist and public speaker, and is a subject matter specialist regarding short sales. His company, Sonoran Title is consistently ranked as one of the Top Title Companies in Arizona by the Phoenix Business Journal.
Dr. Mark Fleming
Mark Fleming is chief economist for First American CoreLogic, America’s largest provider of advanced property and ownership information, analytics and services. Dr. Fleming leads the mortgage risk analytics and economics team. He is responsible for developing the collateral risk, valuation cascade, and house price index models as well as the economic analysis and monitoring of real estate and mortgage market trends. Dr. Fleming’s research interests include real estate economics, econometrics, and data mining. He has published research on spatial econometrics in the American Journal of Agricultural Economics and Geographic Information Sciences, is published in the book, “Advances in Spatial Econometrics”, and is a patent author. He is regularly quoted in national news outlets and trade publications. Prior to First American CoreLogic, Dr. Fleming worked for Fannie Mae, where he developed property valuation models designed as part of collateral assessment applications used in mortgage origination, quality control and loss mitigation. Dr. Fleming graduated from the University of Maryland with a Master of Science and a Doctorate in Agricultural and Resource Economics. He holds Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Swarthmore College.
Barton Craig
Barton Craig graduated from Haverford College in 1971 and Case Western Reserve School of Law in 1975. After law school he served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Ohio Court of Appeals in 1975 and as the Law Clerk to the Honorable John M. Manos of the U.S. District Court from 1976 - 1977. From 1977 - 1979 Bart was an Associate Professor of Law at the Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University. From 1980 through 1989 he served as the Chief Legal Officer of Record Data, Inc. and from 1989 through 1994 he served on the business law faculty of Albertus Magnus College in Connecticut. Bart has served in his current position with Mortgage Information Services, Inc. since 1994. His experience at Mortgage Information Services and at Record Data has exposed him to all the operational and legal issues involving multi-state consumer title insurance and settlement services providers.
Don Booher
Don Booher is president of Colorado Escrow & Title. He has a diverse background consisting of lending, banking and title insurance. His understanding of the needs of Realtors, lenders and bankers allowed Colorado Escrow & Title to design a process that makes all aspects of the transaction run smoothly. Don has experience in REO, bank auction, short sale, commercial, refinance and residential resale. His common sense approach has helped real estate and mortgage professionals gain insight into the understanding of market pressures and allowed them the ability to use this knowledge for increased market share. Mark Ladd
Mark Ladd is the owner of Addison/One, LLC, a consulting firm focused on improving and automating land records recording and management systems. In this role, Ladd serves as a consultant to the PRIA Technology Committee and the PRIA Land Fraud Committee, placing him at the center of two of the hottest topics in the property records world. Prior to starting Addison/One, Mark worked for a software company dedicated to electronic recording systems and also served as the Racine County (WI) Register of Deeds for 11 years. During his tenure as Register of Deeds, he rolled out Racine County’s Electronic Recording System and recorded the first fully electronic real estate documents in the state of Wisconsin. As part of his role with PRIA, Mark serves on the Residential Governance Committee for the Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization (MISMO). He also served for two years as the Chair of the LegalXML Member Section of the Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards (OASIS). Mark’s background as a Register of Deeds, his involvement in the national standard setting process and experience in the private sector provides comprehensive insight into the dynamic electronic recording arena.
Joseph Dahleen is vice president and chief strategy officer for Brightgreen Home Loans Inc. and a visionary executive with over 18 years of professional experience as a mortgage banker and as a technology solutions leader. Throughout his career, he has been engaged in the application of technology in the mortgage industry. His experience includes sales, software and project management, business process analysis, system design, and system implementation. He has strong in-depth knowledge of secondary marketing, loan production, and quality control procedures. Brian Twibell
Brian Twibell is CEO of Red Vision and one of the original investors and co-founders. He was instrumental in creating the business plan that is the foundation for Red Vision's success. He assumed the role of chairman and managing director in 2002 focusing most of his attention on strategic planning and business development. Brian assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer in 2006 to lead Red Vision’s rapid growth as an independent provider of technology-enabled solutions for the real property marketplace nationwide. Prior to Microbank, Brian spent two years running sales and marketing for a software company focused on banking applications. He started his career in banking operations with Manufacturers Hanover Trust (now JP Morgan Chase).
Marshall Haines
Marshall Haines is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Williston Financial Group. He spent 15 years as a private equity investor with TPG Capital and Bain Capital covering the financial and business services industries, among other sectors. Prior to that, he was a consultant with The LEK Partnership, specializing in corporate strategy. Marshall received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley and his master’s degree in business administration from Harvard University. Marshall currently serves on the foundation board of the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. Marshall has previously served on the boards of Fidelity National Information Services (FIS) and Lender Processing Services (LPS).
Leslie Wyatt is a Product Manager at SoftPro, the nation's largest real estate closing and title software provider. Leslie has worked in the real estate industry for over 14 years. She has been with SoftPro for the past 8 years, and has held various positions in training, consulting, research & development, compliance and business integrations. Leslie spent the last 18 months in research and development to ensure that SoftPro is compliant with the new RESPA regulations. Currently, Leslie is working as a business analyst on the business integrations team overseeing third party vendor integrations with SoftPro's new 360 platform.
Angela (Angie) Dodson, CMB, AMP Angela Dodson is senior vice president at CitiMortgage and a seasoned mortgage professional with extensive experience driving and integrating e-technologies into various business functions. As the CitiMortgage Web Technology and Strategy Director, she created the enterprise-wide strategic vision and is responsible for the success of all related initiatives. Her primary areas of focus include research and development, ROI development and education to encourage organizational change. Angela graduated from the School of Mortgage Banking in August of 2005 and received her Certified Mortgage Banker designation in October of the same year. Prior to becoming the Web Technology and Strategy Director, Angela served as CitiMortgage's eLending Portfolio Director and National Operations Director for Correspondent Lending. Previous to her tenure at CitiMortgage, she was Vice President of Business Support and Strategy in Wells Fargo Home Mortgage’s Institutional Lending division. Her contributions include the first-of-its-kind eLending Forum for CitiMortgage, an eNote Pilot Test with Freddie Mac, and Wells Fargo’s Enhanced Delivery Programs, which are inclusive of their data and image deliveries.
James Darke is owner of Integrated Title Services in Midvale, Utah. He began working in the title industry in 1989 as a runner/recorder for a small title company in Salt Lake County, Utah. He pursued new opportunities to search and examine title and fell in love with the business. He is licensed with the State of Utah in both title and escrow and was a founding member of Integrated Title Insurance Services, LLC. His vast knowledge of real estate law, title policies, procedures and endorsements gives him an edge in underwriting difficult transactions and he has a reputation of not only being able to handle them, but to get them done. A self described “nerd” he also manages the IT Department and prides himself on keeping ITS on the cutting edge of industry products and technology.

Mike was named Executive Vice President when the Mackintosh Family purchased ATI in 2004.
